dreamerby all the gods,
is she lovely—
the sweetest lullaby i have ever heard.
and her fingertips soothe this raging nightmare
which roars inside, a decaying dragon
that one too many knights have slain.
if i could worship at her feet i would.
her temple is guarded by pale clouds and
a witch's moonlight; only ravens
may find their way into her tower
and break her chains with a featherweight kiss.
i do not feel her embrace every time the darkness whispers.
no, it is only when the ice in my veins
burns hotter than the sun and my voice is lost
in the supernova that hides itself behind a black hole.
it is only then that she is there, a she-wolf who
swallowed the moon, her fangs glimmering
with the lost stars of forgotten prayers.
and i love her for it.
oh, how i love her for it.
she is a castle built from fairy tales and i
would bury myself in the hollow spaces between
the bricks if she asked me to.
The TravellerAll your life you´ve wandered,
you´ve never settled down.
Hoping at the next stop
your fortune could be found.
Never allowed your roots to spread,
you´d be up and take your leave,
not letting anyone get too close,
too scared to show you feel.
A home, you never had one,
no friend to call your own,
just a thousand different faces,
your memory can´t recall.
Your restless soul pushed you further,
much further than is good.
This desire to just keep travelling on,
no one ever understood.
A home, you never had one,
just a thousand sad goodbyes
and maybe just one special person
would bid farewell with teary eyes.
So fare thee well you lonesome man
and if you pass this way again,
I hope you´ll stop and stay a while
and I´ll get to call you friend.

A JUNKIE TO YOUR GODShot up on a prayer
Synthetic love the dreamers eye
Propositioned a new found freedom
Hostage to your religion
Burnt alive at the stake of your superstitious lie
Empire of fire in the Neolithic light
Bled the heavens, wept angels
Of fortresses in the sky
LongingThe scent of longing
in this glass -
and your skin,
petals rubbing raw;
the sound of water
on the glass-
your face turning away
as you lick your lips
and my tongue
across your hips.
That hush of want
disappearing in the soft crush
of morning gone astray.
Wish I Could
Wish I could turn back time
Wish I could stop the fall
Wish I could see the future
Wish I could change it all
Goodbyesthe city blurs,
we stretch our arms
to hold on to
through the lenses
of our past experiences,
we could never know
of tomorrow, only
that we diverge
from our reality
of better life.
Lovers FeverBurn my mind and make me see,
make me see the colors of the music around me.
Set me on fire,
body and soul.
I want to feel the heat
in the cold, lonely nights.
Paint me in colors of burning gold,
ruby red and dark shades of tangerine.
Ignite my passion,
give me that dazzling fever that only burns lovers.
Drown my imagination and lips in firestorms.
And when I'm gone,
when I die,
it will be glorious and breathtaking like fireworks
and there will be no regrets.
Spill my ashes across the ocean,
across the wild waves,
under the thundering, starry sky,
so I can live forever in shades of blue steel
as a poem and a sweet, reckless memory.
Writing Tips - Fantasy Creatures (Part I)So, I've got myself a map. It's time to populate it with a bunch of different creatures. This can be very fun or very difficult (or both) depending on your skill level. When you're writing a fantasy novel, or creating an RPG world, or anything like that, you could get away with populating the world with exclusively Earth-creatures. But why would you ever want to do that? The fun of fantasy is coming up with new and exciting things that could never be seen in the real world. It's not always just adding magic to medieval Europe, and mixing in elves and dwarves (we'll be talking about sapient species next time).
Some of my favorite fantasy worlds involve entirely alien creatures. Take Morrowind for example. Besides giant rats, every creature is unique. From giant bugs that are hollowed out to take travelers from city to city, to miniature peach-colored dinosaurs that are bred as cattle to pterodactyl birds with stinging tails that won't shut the fuck up. Each of these adds to the world an
